The Cedars Park

We found the Secret Garden. My husband was meandering around town with C in an effort to get out of the house, and stumbled on this park. So at his recommendation, I took C back there later when we had more time to play.
In the neighborhood called The Cedars in Carrboro, I had no idea this park existed! From Weathervane (off of Greensboro), take a right onto Stable. Stable Dr deadends, but before the culdesac, on the right hand side, there is a little picnic area, playground, pond, and gazebo. So cute and so secret!

Parking is tough around here. It is in a neighborhood with small streets, so it can get cramped with too many cars on the street. Also not too sure how the homeowners would feel if they couldn't get in and out, so please be courteous when parking. If you are walking, there is a greenway from Greensboro that leads you very close to this park.

The play equipment isn't the newest or the fanciest, but definitely works. Especially since you would pretty much have this park all to yourself. Take a picnic lunch, head down to the pond to feed the geese, play on the swings, and enjoy the walk through this cute little neighborhood.
